Band Overhead Front Raises from Horse Stance Hold

Anchor a band to a support column, squat rack, or any stable structure by looping it through itself. Grab the band with your thumbs and back up until there is tension on the band and all slack is taken out. Get into a horse stance where you are at maximum hip abduction and raise the band to the overhead position while maintaining your balance.
Make sure to root your feet into the ground and push your knees out, hips forward, and big toes into the ground the entire time. The horse stance will limit the amount of cheating you can do with your lumbar spine so these are very difficult and great for the upper back and shoulders. Expect some cramping in end range.
