Kari Lake APPEAL Hobbs Sworn In as Governor

At the turn of the New Year, Kari Lake filed a petition to appeal to the Arizona Supreme Court. The very next day, Katie Hobbs was sworn in as governor of Arizona. In describing Kari Lake's next steps following the dismissal of her previous case, I also recap the oddly suspicious testimonies from Elections Director Scott Jarrett and another witness, Ryan Macias. Jarrett seems to give contradicting testimony regarding his knowledge of the " 19 inch " ballot issue, discovered initially the plaintiffs. The other witness appears to be reading answers during his testimony. Macias has worked under the Arizona Secretary of State before. Also, it was unexplained why his testimony was virtual. The plaintiff's attorney, Blehm objected twice during Macias testimony. Blehm claimed that it's obvious that he was reading answers. Macias denied, but seemed to continue to act suspiciously.

Last week, Kari Lake's lawsuit was dismissed by Judge Peter Thompson. He said that Lake's team didn't meet the requirement to demonstrate that Maricopa county acted maliciously and intentionally.

Lake will file an appeal of this court decision, in hopes of getting a judge who will be reasonable.
