Kid Warrior, Landon Newbold, wrestling with one arm 31 Dec 2022

Newbold has amassed a 65 win and 3 loss record for 2022 since October. Two of the losses were double overtime and the other was very close. All 68 of these matches were wrestled without full use of his dominate arm.

In this video, his shoulder was completely immobilized to prevent further injury .

There is a fine line between being stupid and strong. He knows the difference and considers this injury a blessing, not a curse. Every storm cloud has a silver lining.

He will begin treatment this week and will now take time to let his shoulder heal, but will also use the time to progress in areas others will not.
