DOGs Grass Eating | Good or Bad | How Much is Okay? | DIY Excessive

Dogs need roughage in their diets and grass is a good source of fiber. A lack of roughage affects the dog's ability to digest food and pass stool, so grass may actually help their bodily functions run more smoothly.

If you notice your dog eating grass more frequently or excessively, be alert for potential underlying illnesses that may be causing the behavior. Check for vomiting, diarrhea, weight loss, decrease in appetite, bloody stool, lethargy, or lip licking.

Short clip of mini pincher/ Chihuahua and Australian Shepherd female eating free grazing grass. They will eat too much and I intermittingly interrupt to help intake. Some is good, our grass is 100% organic, no chemicals. Still, they can over-consume.
