King Tut was a Red Haired Aryan, related to half of Western Europeans

R1b is an Indo-European/Indo-Aryan haplogroup which some of the Egyptian royalty possessed, including King Tut and his family. Indo-Europeans are said to have migrated from the Russian Steppe and branched out in all directions several thousand years ago, they left genetic evidence of their travels.

The haplogroup R1b1a2, which iGENEA claims includes King Tut, arose 9,500 years ago in the Black Sea region. How Tut's ancestors would have gotten from that region to Egypt is unknown, but Scholz said iGENEA hopes to learn more by collecting more close and exact matches from modern people of Western European descent.
