Here is a simple recipe for boiled crabs:
Ingredients:
2 pounds live crabs
Water
Salt
Instructions:
Fill a large pot with water and bring to a boil.
Once the water is boiling, add a generous amount of salt. The water should taste slightly saltier than seawater.
Gently place the crabs into the pot of boiling water.
Cook the crabs for 15-20 minutes, or until they turn a bright orange-red color.
Using tongs or a slotted spoon, carefully remove the crabs from the pot and place them on a plate to cool.
Once the crabs are cool enough to handle, twist off the claws and legs. Using a knife or scissors, cut the body of the crab in half.
Serve the crabs with melted butter and lemon wedges. Enjoy!
