Shimbashi Station Right after getting off the train, there are three shrines you can turn around.
One shrine has a history of 1,000 years, one shrine has grown larger every time it has been relocated, and one shrine has been transformed from a daimyo's mansion god of the Edo period to a park god.
It is surprising to find so many sanctuaries in such close proximity to Shimbashi Station, the drinking district for businessmen.
Tokyo is a big city with many sanctuaries close to stations.
