Yeshua (Jesus) in The Feasts of The LORD: A Discussion on Sabbath

Out of all the “Appointed Times” listed in Leviticus 23, Sabbath is my favorite. Perhaps it is the weekly frequency of it, or that Holy Spirit speaks so clearly and “thickly” on that day… or both! Unsure, but it is truly a joy that one must purposely choose to honor—especially when the world around us is using this day to be the busiest and most full day of the week, when it comes to chores, shopping, finishing up the week’s tasks, etc. Honestly, it is simply the day we’ve chosen (or was it chosen for us 😉) to overbook with activities.
Wouldn’t you know, the Day Father tells us to set aside and “make Holy”, is the one day the enemy, and world, says, “make that day the busiest!”. The first 40 years of my life, I never rested on Sabbath, let alone ANY day. “I’ll rest when I’m dead”, was my mantra. Thankfully, Father took over, forced me to rest, taught me of Sabbath and The Rest it offers, and I’ve never been the same. I pray this teaching blesses you, in SO MANY ways, and blesses you for the REST of your given Life ❤️. His Commandments are all about LIFE (not death)—they are our “Instructions for Living”.
He created us. He knows what we need to live well and abundantly. Perhaps you will take a chance on His idea of Rest for you. Perhaps you will know, first hand, why He placed it as one of His “Top Ten” ❤️
Shabbat Shalom (Sabbath Peace), dear Siblings of The King. Enjoy, and go meet Him on HIS Appointed Time. He waits.
