How To Spot CGI

With so many bogus UFO videos out there, how do you tell whether or not something is real or fake?

When it comes to CGI work - You typically want to look for pixelation surrounding the object. Some will call them boxes, others tiling, but the main thing you just want to observe, is the outer edge of the object. You want to see how it interacts with it's environment, especially if there's movement.

As something is passing behind or in front of another object, how do they interact with each other.

Will you see the mistakes or will you still perceive this as real? Either way, that's on you and how you want to decide, but for me this is a great example of what to look for, when attempting to discern whether there's CGI elements added into the video or not.

You can apply this to any kind of video you suspect it being fake. One of the things, I find most helpful, is looking at things frame by frame. For every second you watch - there could potentially be 30/60 or more frames being shown to you, that likely, you don't actually catch. This is where the stuff is hidden.
