Iran holds military drills in key oil waterway

The Iranian Army held massive drills in the strategic southern zone, stretching from east of the Strait of Hormuz to the northern part of the Indian Ocean. The exercises featured naval, air and ground forces. The Strait of Hormuz is a key waterway through which 25% of the world’s oil passes, along with about a third of all liquified natural gas.
