Tamari Kirimeli
We have worked with 4 different caregivers from Lisa’s Care in the last 10 months.
The 1st girl worked for 3 weeks and when I went to pay her she demanded cash. I told her I could only give her cash if she signed a receipt. She initially refused to sign anything. Then she agreed to sign but said her last day would be 3 days from then. I gave her a partial check and told her that today was her last day. The rest of her pay went to Lisa for her fee. I found out Lisa charges the girls a fee of 3 weeks pay for each placement.
The 2nd girl I interviewed and she said she was legally allowed to work. She worked about a week when I asked her for the paperwork to submit to CDPAP. It was all expired and she said it was in process with an attorney. I fired her for not telling the truth.
The 3rd caregiver seemed good at first. Tamari Kirimeli lasted 7 months. Dad really liked her. She was an odd person and although I tried to make her comfortable she always seemed awkward and cold. She would seem to get these bouts of lethargy and when I asked her about it she just said she had a little back pain. The 1st few weeks of nice weather we had last spring I started opening the house and she would go behind me and close it back up. This went on for a few weeks until one nice day I noticed it was 78 degrees and I opened the front door. She got very angry with me and said she never heard of having a house open like that. I told her she should see a doctor and maybe her thyroid was not working. A few days later I heard my mom ring the intercom for Tamari to come help her. Tamari never got up so I knocked on her bedroom door. She came out and helped mom and when she was done I asked her if we could talk. I told her I was worried and that she didn't look good and should see a doctor. She said she was fine and said she mistaked the intercom for the doorbell. I brought her to her room and rang the intercom and asked her to stop lying because it was so clear it wasn't the doorbell. She got angry and stormed off. I told her if she couldn't answer my mom's calls I would need to let her go. I then checked our cameras the last few days and she was only outside of her bedroom for 5 to 6 hours a day for the 2 days prior. I called Lisa and she paid us a visit. Tamari took 2 days off and things got better. All was going well until mom took a turn for the worse. I knew Tamari was struggling taking care of both mom and dad with mom in such poor condition. I helped as much as I could but I could see Tamari having mental health issues. She told me she had been medicated for mental health in the past and it ran in her family. Her brother spent some time in the psych ward. She also was using some Russian pharmacy sleeping meds, injecting B12 and an anti-inflammatory called baclofen. A few days before my mom's passing she knocked on my door at midnight. She said she had taken my mom's cannabis and felt very sick. I told her she would be fine and needed to sleep it off. She had also used my mom's Percocet and asked about the morphine. She took my hand and asked if I could sit with her. We sat on her bed for a little bit and I tried to tell her a story to redirect her. Well... she threw herself at me. I'd been celibate the last 2 years because of covid and my parents and couldn't muster the strength to say no. My mom passed and I was a mess. I fell into her and a love began to grow. She moved very quickly telling me she loved me and wanted to get married and start a family, maybe get an apartment together in brooklyn and move back to her country in Georgia. She had just lost her virginity a few years earlier and had the maturity of a 17 year old girl. I went along with it for the most part. I didn't want to tip the boat at this point. One night over dinner she started asking poignant questions about our families financials. Who would get what etc. She also had already calculated the value of the house and what I would get. This upset me and I felt like she was using me. I told her I lost all my parents' money trading crypto when the market crashed. At 1st she thought I was lying but when I convinced her it was true she started to cry and said she had to leave. I told her I would be glad to see her go and that she was nothing but a gold digger anyway. She tried to console me a few times that night but I held my ground and went to bed. The next morning I woke at 4am to use the bathroom and she was in the hall with all her bags. Thinking about what I was up against, taking care of my father alone again while grieving for my mother, I asked her to stay and think it over. She agreed and unpacked. We went on a few days more and she asked questions about my previous relationships. She asked for some intimate details and not thinking I shared more than I should. She started to cry again and started packing again. I begged her to stay on but she refused and went out the front door with her bags, crying in the pouring rain at 9pm on a very rural street. After I got my dad settled I went out in the car looking for her but didn't find her. Turns out she asked my neighbor, who she did not know, for a ride to the train station. I let Lisa know that she left and asked her to make sure she was ok. I messaged her a few times and she replied that she was sorry for leaving abruptly but she couldn't come back. A few weeks went by and I messaged her and asked her to just let me know that she was ok, she responded by saying she could never forgive me for the way she had to leave that night in the rain. I made a video of this story with security camera footage. Here is a link to that video https://rumble.com/v238o5f-tamari-kirimeli.html
The 4th caregiver was ok I guess. Her work authorization expired. She was a Lazy, smoker that didn't speak much english. Dad was not a fan and has lashed out at her a few times. After a few weeks I asked Lisa for a replacement because they didn’t get along. She ignored many of my messages. I sent emails, left voicemails and text messages. If she did respond, she would put me off saying she’d get back to me but never did. I have the text and email logs to prove this. Come to find out she charges these caregivers 3 weeks pay so it wasn’t in her financial interest to replace her because Lisa didn’t get her fee yet.
Then, Lisa sent me a bill for $300 for her "services". She never mentioned a fee to me. I feel like she should be paying me some of the money she took from these girls considering the mess I've been through.
