THE OMNIPRESENCE OF GOD (PSALM 139:7-12)

"So today we will be addressing the attribute of God’s omnipresence. God is omnipresent. This means that He is present everywhere simultaneously at all times, or that He is present in all places at the same time. In other words, He is everywhere at once and He is ubiquitous.

"Now this doesn’t mean that God is everything, which is central to all pantheistic belief systems such as Taoism, Buddhism and Hinduism. In essence, these believe that the sum of all things is God, therefore, God is not a personal relational being, but rather the sum of all creation. The omnipresence of a personal relational God does not mean that God is in everything either as I have heard suggested. This is panentheism, the belief that God is in all, and all is in God. Now panentheism differs from pantheism in that in panentheism, God is greater than the universe. “Some versions of panentheism suggest that the universe is nothing more than the manifestation of God.” This of course is not true, and it is unbiblical."
