Asian Bobcat / Prionailurus bengalensis

The Bobcat or Kuwuk Cat (Prionailurus bengalensis) is a small Asian wild cat and is commonly found in forest areas. As of 2022, the bobcat has been listed as a Low Risk species by the International Union for Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources (IUCN), as it is threatened with habitat loss and overhunting in several ranges. The distribution of forest cats from the Amur region in the Russian Far East to the Korean Peninsula, China, Indochina, the Indian Subcontinent, Pakistan, the Philippines and Indonesia.
