I understand WHY this sentiment is growing but... what is the COST??

I have heard a growing number of commentators suggesting that we "play by the new rules"... but is that really a good idea? If you do the wrong thing for the right reasons... what do you win? What do you lose?

This crossroads that we stand at is nothing new. This has happened many times throughout history. Can we really put a price on righteousness?
