My last ride of the year | Cheshire MTB | Bosley Cloud

27th December and a post Christmas ride to Bosley Cloud in Cheshire to try and burn off some of the xmas bloat! This is my final MTB ride of the year but also just a local ride for me.

Maintained and looked after by Congleton Mountain Biking group Bosley Cloud offers 4 or 5 different MTB/DH (Downhill) lines and offers some great jumps, drops, chutes and other features.

Bosley Cloud is a great place to ride if you're looking for some MTB/downhill action riding and you are local to the area. The trails are well-crafted and the jumps and drops are perfect for progression riders as well as the more experienced.

I used this ride as it is about a 16 mile round trip from my house including riding Bosley Cloud so makes for a decent fitness session but as well it makes a good progression ride for me in the Winter time as it does get fairly sloppy and has plenty of wet rooty sections to catch you out.

This is the first Winter I have properly rode in the slop so still learning how to ride these sorts of sections as last winter we mainly did rocky bridleway kind of descents. I feel a lot more confident about riding in these conditions after this ride and felt my riding did get quicker during the few hours I spent here.

Hope you enjoy the ride.
