My 1850's embroidered corset is all finished! Save this post if you love corset-making! 💕Also, don't forget that there will be a full making video for this corset up on my Youtube channel, (linked in bio) so subscribe so you won't miss it! 😍

I love how it turned out. 💕This corset was an experiment into the side-bending properties of synthetic whalebone, as well as into using cardboard to reinforce boning channels. I learned a lot!😍

Also, can I just say, I have never spent this much time doing the bone flossing on a corset, but I would say the results were well worth it!🪡🧵

Is this an era you would try? Have you ever heard of cardboard in historical corsets? 🤔

💕Want to learn historical corset-making, as a beginner? Enroll in my "Victorian Corset-Making" online course, with 4 hours of instructional video, lifetime access, and one year of instructor support! DM me for the link, or check my bio. 😍
