(5 Nov 2016) Charles, the UK's Prince of Wales, continued his tour of Oman on Saturday, visiting a 200-year-old village before embarking on a wildlife adventure at a nature reserve.

Prince Charles was flown by helicopter to Misfat Al Abriyeen village.

The mountainous area is divided into two distinct settlements – the old and new villages.

The old village was built over 200 years ago and is distinct for its traditional mud houses built with carved wooden doors.

The Prince stopped at a viewpoint overlooking the city of Muscat before walking through narrow pathways.

He was also shown the village's traditional irrigation system.
