Sabbath Destroys idols | Patriarchs

The fundamental behavior required for living well contracts and expands fractally from the fundamental Order creating and sustaining the universe.

Faith and commitment to this Order, to God, to "I Am" requires the abandonment of commitment to all other beliefs.

Everything other than the Order, the God, "I Am" must be relegated to a lower priority.

A day of rest represents this reprioritization.

By allowing for a Sabbath, a break, both for ourselves and those who we have power and responsibility over, we redirect our ultimate commitment towards the ultimate Order, God, "I Am."

Any absolute dedication to an activity, no matter how seemingly important, creates an idol of that activity and grants its importance over that of God, "I Am."

And it's not enough to simply practice a Sabbath; we must understand the Sabbath as a submission to "I Am."

All attempts to trick the practice of a Sabbath themselves create an idol to whom we may be able to and are trying to trick.

This is futile and implies a semipotent, semiscient god.

And is self-condemning.

Until we can prioritize and continuously give our first priorities to God, our lives will be less than ideal.

And absolute faith and absolute commitment to God, "I Am," is the way to our ideal lives.
