Does Cormac McCarthy's "The Road" Suck?? ⚠️

"The Road" by Cormac McCarthy is one of his most controversial books. Some McCarthy fans view it as a step away from his western/southern works, sci-fi gatekeepers view it as a weak stand-in novel to prevent "real" sci-fi authors from being given awards/press, and random readers can't understand the dark style of the work. Today I will be going over all the main objections of this book, and hopefully refuting all of them! Sorry for the hiatus, was super sick and am moving from Nevada to Arizona right now! Also, the mic cut-offs that happened in this video will be fixed in the next one. Dealing with a new studio room and need to get some rugs, bookshelves, and other stuff in here for soundproofing!
