I believe that these images were staged based on the following:

* The soldiers look clean and well-rested.

* The "O" marking on the Tigr and the soldier's uniforms was supposed to be for the Chernihiv Oblast and Sumy Oblast Axis of Attack. Russia has retreated from that area, although these troops may have been moved to the southeast.

* The soldiers are wearing Soviet era flags. No commander would ever allow this breakdown in discipline to occur. It would be the equivalent of an American soldier wearing a Gadsden flag. Allowing little things like this to slide is what creates bigger disciplinary problems down the road. These patches were probably put on for older consumers of Russian media back home.

* One soldier looks like they have a thermal optic and a radio. This marks this soldier as a leader. It is unlikely that a leader would be helping an older woman carry Humanitarian Assistance (HA) when he has many other more important things to do.
