Kicking Off 2023 with Severe Weather? -Great Lakes Weather

An upper level ridge has thawed out a large portion of the Great Lakes Region with temperatures rising into the 50s. This trend will continue over the next couple of days. Severe weather potential appears in the forecast for southern portions of the Great Lakes Region on Monday as a low pressure system deepens over the Central Plains.
