The exercises in this video work well because they keep the back straight and come straight out of real life.
They are also good because they make a point of keeping the back straight when it is under load. This has two benefits: (1) the back muscles develop strength and stamina and (2) the movement patterns are reprogrammed so that you automatically move the right way to avoid damage to the base of the spine.
The seven exercises are:-
1. Monkey squat athlete ready
2. Monkey squat chair sit
3. Monkey squat “ass to grass”
4. Monkey squat asymmetric
5. Good morning double-legged
6. Good morning single-legged
7. Marriage proposal
If you were to spend just three minutes a day doing these very available exercises, you would increase your back health and confide4nce and, best of all, reduce your risk of lower back pain. Enjoy!
