Notable People We Bid Farewell to For the Final Time in 2022

2022 was quite a devastating year for many families across many disciplines. Notable athletes said their final goodbyes, actors and actresses took their last bows and the longest reigning monarch was laid to rest to signal the end of an era. Every year carries with it a lot of baggage, but 2022 has arguably the most significant impact on the death front, not likely to be passed any time soon.

Special mention to one of, if not the greatest Footballer ever in Pele, who just passed away at 82 on December 29th. He didn't make that specific list, but his shadow looms large over the beautiful game in his absence.
