THE VERY FLAME OF GOD

SCRIPTURES:

1. THE FLAME OF GOD BURNS ~ SOS 8:6-7
"Set me as a seal upon your heart, as a seal upon your arm; for Love is as strong as death, Jealousy as cruel as the grave; its flames are flames of fire, a most vehement flame. Many waters cannot quench Love, nor can the floods drown it. If a man would give for Love all the wealth of his house, it would be utterly despised."

2. THE FLAME OF GOD IS JEALOUS ~ Deut. 4:24
"For the Lord your God is a Consuming Fire, a Jealous God."
3. THE FLAME OF GOD CONSUMES ~ Heb. 12:28-29
"Therefore, since we are receiving a Kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear. For our God IS A Consuming Fire."

4. THE FLAME OF GOD FILLS~ Acts 2:3-4
"Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance."
