Info from Licensor: "Lily’s Place Animal Sanctuary was involved in a different type of rescue today! A deer had been stuck out on the ice for over 24 hours. Thankfully we have helpful, skilled, and compassionate neighbors in the area. Together, we got a safety plan in place and before long, had the deer safely on the shore. 4 people carried her up to higher ground and released her. She’s wobbly and worn out but hopefully will be ok."
