Survey Finds 50 Per Cent of Australians say 'No it isn't' Racist to Oppose the Voice

IPA’s Scott Hargreaves says the institute commissioned independent research and surveyed 1,000 Australians, asking them if it was racist to oppose the Indigenous Voice to Parliament.

“Isn’t it interesting that 50 per cent of Australians said no it isn’t,” he told Sky News host Andrew Bolt.

“Whatever their views on the Voice, they’re very open and interested in having a proper debate, and they see that it’s not automatically racist.”

Mr Hargreaves said the results also showed the idea that there’s an “overwhelming majority” of Australians who support the Voice is “not correct”.
