This video gives a review of LED and Halogen lamps, gives an independent Engineering opinion about each one of the lights mentioned.

I have broken a couple of LED spotlight lamp to show you what's inside one of these lights, and explained what each electronic component does in them.

Bear in mind the 2.2 Uf 400 volts capacitor mentioned in the video is mainly to correct the power factor, but it does smoothen the ripple effect of the full wave rectified DC voltage after the rectifier too.
