The National Emergencies Act and Presidential Overreach of Power

Does the National Emergencies Act Increase Presidential Power? [No. 86]

The National Emergencies Act was created to Restrain Presidential Powers During an Emergency

But an Emergency can be Declared for any reason. And there is very little that can be done to Contest an Emergency unless it is already Clearly Defined by Statutory Law.

Our Bloated Legislation allows nearly Limitless Opportunities for Executive Overreach of Power.

The Statutory Law used by the Federal Government itself is actually Unconstitutional. It is How the DC Corporation has been able to Bypass our Constitution.

In fact the Authority of the Corporate Federal Government of Washington DC is LEGAL BOUND WITHIN THE BORDERS OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA

The States are Corporations as well. And instead of protecting the Constitutional Rights of We The People, they have sided with the Illegal, Illigitimate Federal Government.

The States have SURRENDERED their Authority. They have No Obligation to follow Executive Orders, nor most Federal Laws. They have Chosen to Submit.

How does the National Emergencies Act regulate presidential declarations? While there are numerous authorities granted to the president during times of crisis, does that authority come directly from the NEA? Or was this 1976 law a Congressional attempt to reign in presidential power?

In this episode of No. 86, Professor Lisa Grow Sun explains the history, purpose, and controversy surrounding the National Emergencies Act. * * * * *
