Similar reports were received about Kreminna, where, as stated, Ukrainian troops first reached the outskirts of the city and advanced to the settlements of Novokrasnyanka and Surovtsivka, then it was said at all that the city was practically liberated. In turn, Russian telegram channels stated that all this was not true and there was no breakthrough. It is worth noting that on December 26, the Russians acknowledged the loss of Chervonopopivka, which is now being fought over.

In the Donetsk direction, according to the General Staff of Ukraine, the enemy continues offensive operations in the Bakhmut and Avdiivka sectors. The reports of the General Staff speak of a repulsed attack by the Russians on the Kramatorsk sector in the area of ​​the settlement of Spirne. In the Bakhmut sector, attacks by the Russian army were repulsed in the areas of Yakovlivka, Soledar, Bakhmutske, Pidhorodne, Bakhmut, Andriivka and Klishchiivka.
