Mare teaches colt to break ice to get water and freezes her tongue

This has been our coldest Christmas on record in Alabama. It’s the first time Gunner has seen the pond freeze over. Tri is teaching Gunner how to break the ice to get water. She has always had a habit of sticking her tongue out when drinking really cold water. #horses #country_features #equinelife
