Easter under war...

Ukraine and Russia celebrated Easter yesterday, but there doesn’t seem to be much to celebrate. So much wanton destruction. I thought it was interesting that in this video (France 24) they admit that that particular church was actually shelled by Ukrainian forces (even if they blame the Russians, for storing ammunition there). On the other hand, Mariupol is all but destroyed. The war will go on. People in the West are supposed to feel bad for Ukrainian civilians, but also supposed to cheer for the Ukrainian military and the sending of more weapons, that will end up killing more civilians, and creating more refugees. The whole thing feels schizophrenic. Who benefits from prolonging this war, except perhaps the US and weapon manufacturers? Certainly, no one in Europe.
