Mobile Respite Care

We are the Love Family.

We are a Mobile Respite Volunteer family of 5 with a background in nursing (R.N.) as well as Helping/Serving people since 2006.

In November of 2022 we concluded our latest of three missions.
On all 3 of these missions, we as a unit helped take care of precious people with terminal illness.
The latest of these "Great Privileges" was a 10-month journey.
It was very intense. (24/7 care)

We believe that love is measured by sacrifice.

In the year 2020 we left comfort and career behind to be in position to more freely help others. This marked the beginning of Phase One of our three Phase goal.

In Phase One the cares are provided at the client’s home.
Some of the services we offer are:

1. Nursing care.
2. Providing direct patient care, i.e., showers, meals etc.
3. Coordinating cares with providers.

iii. Transporting patients.

1. Administering medication.
2. Helping the patient and family navigate the healthcare system.
3. Helping those in need with tasks (house/yard work, errands etc.)
4. One on one holistic approach to health:

i.e., mental health, lifestyle, recreation, spirituality, how to prepare for a crisis and other D.I.Y. skills.

To more efficiently provide Phase One mobile respite care services we need:

1. Housing (Camper/Motor Home/RV)
2. Food
3. Transportation (Wheelchair accessible etc.

We are currently on Phase One of this project.

While Phase One is a mobile respite care service. Phase Two is a small-scale centralized facility where we can train and host those in need as well as continue our mobile respite care service.

To most efficiently execute Phase Two, we will need:

Building/facility
Indoor and Outdoor Recreation/Fitness area
Sauna/Hot tub
Greenhouse/Community Garden
Transportation

Phase Three (the end goal) is an "OUTPOST CENTER." It emphasizes Phase Two on a large-scale plus more. It is a place in the serene setting of Nature for learning self-sufficiency.

To better serve in Phase Three the needs are:

Land (ideally with plenty of trees and sources of water)
Excavation/Landscaping
Main facility
Staff and guest houses
Well and Water Filtration System
Compost/Septic System
Generator
Storage
Storm Shelter
Tools

The focus of Phase Three is for our team to be in a favorable position to provide training for those who come to the facility to be self-supporting and help others!

Our desire is for Phase Two to be completed in a years’ time and for Phase Three to be completed in 3 to 5 years’ time.
