MEDICINAL HERBS for COVID-19 (What CHINA & INDIA Recommend During the PANDEMIC) — Ep. 143

After two family members contracted the latest virus in 2022, I became curious as to what treatments were being offered in other parts of the world—namely on the Asian continent—and if any respected, peer-reviewed science journals were looking into alternative anti-viral treatments to help modulate one's immune system in face of the virus.

What I started to unearth shocked me.

As I did more and more reading, it was clear that the The Ministry of AYUSH, a ministry of the Government of India, that is responsible for developing education, research and propagation of traditional medicine systems in India and the Ministry of Health of the People's Republic of China, were offering a suite of traditional anti-viral medications that are essentially available over-the-counter. Given their rich, thousands-of-years old history of herbal pharmacopeia, I began to seek out respected, peer-reviewed science journals that could corroborate what I was seeing. And it was unbelievable how much is out there in the scientific literature!
