God’s Word will be fulfilled (The Leaven Matthew 13:33-34)

If you have ever dabbled in the world of baking, then you may be familiar with a baking agent called yeast. Yeast is a leavening agent that is used to cause the dough you are using to rise and become fluffier and lighter buy interacting with the sugars in the flour causing it to expand. The key to yeast is making sure that you activate it with the correct temperature of water (between 70- and 80-degrees Fahrenheit), if you use water to warm you kill the yeast and if you use water to cool it doesn’t activate. In Matthew 13:33 Jesus compares the Kingdom of Heaven to lump of dough that has some yeast applied to it by a woman. As the leavening agent is applied, the dough will begin to grow, and this is exactly what the Kingdom of Heaven has done since God introduced it to this world to those who accept it in their lives.

Psalm 19:7 says “the The law of the LORD is perfect, refreshing the soul. The statutes of the LORD are trustworthy, making wise the simple.” All we must do is simply believe that the Lord is who He says He is, and He is going to fulfill what He has said through His word. Romans 4:3 says that Abraham was counted as righteous simply because He believed what God had told him. If we accept the Word of God for what it is (Truth) and allow it to change our hearts, then there is no way that it will fail in reviving our soul. It is finicky or tough to deal with like yeast, just simply apply it to your life and believe it will do what it says it will do. There will be times it may look like it is not working, it has stopped working, or you need to apply more but rest assured that it will fulfill its purpose in your life if you just believe it will do what it says it will do. The Kingdom of Heaven will be the eventual ruling force of our Universe and we know this because God’s word says it will. The question is do you want to be apart of that Kingdom by letting the gospel of Jesus Christ transform and revive your spirit.
