Michael Beale should be able to welcome back Croatian duo Borna Barisic and Antonio Colak to his Rangers lineup against Motherwell.

The duo have so far missed all three of Beale’s games as manager at Ibrox, with the striker suffering with an injury while Barisic was helping his country to a third-place finish at the World Cup in Qatar.
But after finally securing a clean sheet and claiming a 1-0 win over Ross County last time out, Beale could look to make some changes as he welcomes back two key players to the fold.
Jon McLaughlin started that game in goal as Allan McGregor was suffering with a bout of illness, but the veteran should be fit enough to return between the sticks despite the relatively good performance.
In defence the captain James Tavernier has seemingly recovered from the bout of illness that saw him exiled from the squad and travelling to Aberdeen alone and should continue at right-back, while Connor Goldson and Ben Davies should get the nod in the middle again.

Youngster Adam Devine has been excellent at left-back as an understudy with Ridvan Yilmaz out injured and Barisic away. But with the experience and quality of Barisic being available again, Beale is likely to go with him at the earliest opportunity.

In midfield Steven Davis has been ruled out for the rest of the season following a knee injury and while Glen Kamara is in need of surgery, he has started all three games under Beale and should continue in the heart of the midfield alongside John Lundstram, fresh off his winning goal.

Further forward Malik Tillman has established himself as a key man under Beale too, operating on the right hand side and tucking in to allow Tavernier to get forward.

He should keep that position in the team once again, while Ryan Kent could move to his more familiar position on the left wing away from the number ten role he’s occupied so far.
That will allow Scott Arfield to continue in the lineup after earning his spot with two injury time goals in the win over Aberdeen, offering extra support to the midfield without the ball too.

Alfredo Morelos has been struggling with injury but playing through, however he was left out against Ross County with Fashion Sakala favoured as the central striker.

The Zambian was largely ineffective through the middle though and with top scorer Colak available for the first time under Beale, expect him to come into the side in his place.

Predicted Rangers XI: McGregor; Tavernier, Goldson, Davies, Barisic; Kamara, Lundstram; Tillman, Arfield, Kent; Colak
