Hugh Jackman The man and the Actor

Hugh Jackman is an Australian actor and producer born October 12, 1968. He has appeared in films, plays, and series. He is best known for his role as Wolverine in the X-Men film series as well as his lead roles in Kate and Lipod, Van Helsing, Grandeur, Australia, True Steel, Les Miserables, and Prisoners of War. For his role in Les Misérables, Jackman won a Golden Globe Award for Best Actor in a Motion Picture Musical or Comedy, and also earned his first Academy Award nomination for Best Actor for the same film. In November 2008, People magazine named him "Sexiest Man Alive". JOn February 22, 2009, Jackman presented the 81st Academy Awards. Hugh Jackman was honored in December 2012 with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Jackman has described himself as a Christian and a "religious person". He meditates daily and follows the faculty of practical philosophy spiritually.
