This is my review of the Nextorch TA41 tactical flashlight! This is a unique light that comes with a steel glass-breaking bezel.

The TA41 is a high-performance flashlight that's perfect for a variety of applications, from tactical and outdoor use to everyday carry. It's equipped with a powerful CREE XHP 50.2, which produces a bright beam of light (2600 lumens) that's ideal for illuminating your surroundings in low-light conditions.

In this review, I'll be taking a closer look at the features and performance of the Nextorch TA41. I'll unbox it and give you a detailed overview of its design and construction. I'll also put it through its paces in a variety of real-world situations and outdoor beam shot tests to see how it holds up.

Video Transcript/Notes: Nextorch TA41

What's included
• 21700 battery, lanyard, light, O rings, charging cable - proprietary.
• Hunting set available too.

Design/build quality, disassembly, Batteries/charging, Size comparison
• High-quality, military-grade design/construction.
• Tactical switch, strike bezel with ceramic beads for breaking glass.
• It feels like I'm holding a professional tool compared to some other budget flashlights.
• Also part of Nextorch's hunting range, and has accessories designed for it including a scope mount and remote switch (momentary and constant on). Rubber seal on the USB port.
• Unprotected 21700s work, but feels loose. No flickering.

LED, lens, bezel, and reflector
• XHP 50.2 emitter, good combination of throw and flood. Much more throw than XHP 70.2
• Strike bezel with ceramic beads.
• OP reflector

UI - modes
• True tactical flashlight. Always starts in high. I like that for a tactical flashlight.
• Two-way tactical switch. Half-press turbo, full press + half press to change modes. I like that the low mode is genuinely low.

Performance - total output, beam profile, longevity, practicality
• 2600 ANSI lumens, smooth flood with a wide hotspot. It's easy to activate and the switch is recessed.
• Ramp down - 50 seconds
• Longevity - turbo 2600 lumens (2.5hours), high 3 hours 45 mins, med 12 hours, low 71 hours
• Throw - Spec 272m (turbo), 314m measured
• It fits easily in your pocket with no risk of turning on. The Head is a little bulky. Comes with a clip.

Verdict
Rugged and unique tactical flashlight from Nextorch. I like how it is purpose-built for practicality/easy access and emergency self-defense situations. Clean and low-key design, feels like a high-quality instrument.
