China outraged as fresh US defense budget authorizes billions for Taiwan

China has lashed out at the US National Defense Authorization Act, which has allocated up to ten billion dollars in security assistance for Taiwan. Beijing considers the disputed island to be its territory and accuses Washington of undermining stability in the region.
