Masks of Censorship, CH9/15

Masks of censorship is the ninth chapter in my philosophy book, Humanity's Forgotten Reflection. This chapter covers the vast amount of ways censorship can take form both blatant and the most subtle. It recounts the use of censorship in the past and how it's being utilized in the modern age. It emphasizes the dangers of censorship that at times further isolates those dangerous ways of thinking and are left unaddressed causing them to become radical or extreme. Another factor is the ineffectiveness of prohibition, one only needs to look towards the prohibition on alcohol or the war on drugs. It only makes things worse, creating black markets and criminalizing people over petty matters. There is no closing Pandora's box.
