Clashes between police and Kurdish community reoccurred in Paris on Saturday after the killing of three Kurds on Friday. Footage shows protesters flipping cars over and hurling stones at the police, who responded with tear gas. "People are really upset about this [shooting] because it's happening close to the tenth anniversary of the death of three Kurdish activists who were killed in 2013. It's happening again, it's the same thing and we think that Turkey is involved in it anyway." said Jemet, a Kurdish activist. "The young people, they are provoked by the cops as always. It's always the same thing." The attack took place around midday local time at the centre, as well as at a nearby Kurdish cafe and hair salon. Protesters were subsequently seen clashing with riot police. A 69-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder, manslaughter, and aggravated violence and taken to the hospital.

"Die Menschen sind sehr aufgebracht über diese [Schießerei], weil sie kurz vor dem zehnten Jahrestag des Todes von drei kurdischen Aktivisten stattfindet, die 2013 getötet wurden. Es passiert wieder, es ist die gleiche Sache und wir denken, dass die Türkei sowieso darin verwickelt ist", sagte Jemet, ein kurdischer Aktivist. "Die jungen Leute werden wie immer von den Polizisten provoziert. Es ist immer das Gleiche." Der Angriff ereignete sich gegen Mittag (Ortszeit) in dem Zentrum sowie in einem nahe gelegenen kurdischen Café und Friseursalon. Anschließend kam es zu Zusammenstößen zwischen Demonstranten und Bereitschaftspolizei. Ein 69-jähriger Mann wurde wegen des Verdachts auf Mord, Totschlag und schwere Gewalt festgenommen und ins Krankenhaus gebracht.

L'attaque a eu lieu vers midi, heure locale, dans le centre, ainsi que dans un café et un salon de coiffure kurdes situés à proximité. Des manifestants ont ensuite été vus en train de se heurter à la police anti-émeute. Un homme de 69 ans a été arrêté pour suspicion de meurtre, d'homicide involontaire et de violence aggravée, et emmené à l'hôpital.

Saldırı yerel saatle öğle saatlerinde merkezin yanı sıra yakındaki bir Kürt kafe ve kuaför salonunda da gerçekleşti. Protestocuların daha sonra çevik kuvvet polisiyle çatıştığı görüldü. 69 yaşındaki bir adam cinayet, adam öldürme ve ağır şiddet şüphesiyle tutuklandı ve hastaneye kaldırıldı.
