Lake Ray Hubbard Light House at Sunset & Ice Skating at Christmas

We returned at sunset to Harbor Bay Marina / Shopping Center in Rockwall, Texas, to check out the sunset and watch as the ice rink opened for business. It was fun watching the first few kids go out onto the ice. The employee in the yellow vest & Santa hat was showing off their skills & getting paid to have fun. What a deal!

The sunset was gorgeous, with lots of clouds in the sky to the west that helped reflect it into the sky. The mallard ducks were enjoying the calm winds and low temperatures, but we wonder how well they coped with the frigid cold front that blasted thru the area 2 days later.
