Merry Christmas 2022! Jesus is the Greatest Gift

Merry Christmas to you all! I pray that we will celebrate Jesus Who is the greatest gift anyone could ever receive.

They say not all who wander are lost, but I was indeed lost before I came to Christ. When I came to Christ, it felt like I was finally coming home after running fast in the wrong direction and exhausting my resources to find my own way, my own life, and my own truth.

It felt like I came home when I accepted Jesus’ invitation to take off my old yoke, take my place where I belonged and be yoked to Him.

It felt like I came home, because I found all the things I had been looking for and stopped looking for the things I thought I had wanted.

If you are someone who is wandering, wondering, and looking for a spiritual home, you can find it in Jesus.

If you are looking for love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control, you can find these in Jesus.
If you are looking for healing for your body and soul, you can find these only in Jesus.
If you are looking for spiritual rest, you can find it only in Jesus.
If you are looking for redemption and forgiveness, you can find these only in Jesus.
If you are looking for the true meaning of life, you can find this only in Jesus.
If you are looking for provision, you can find it only in Jesus.
If you are looking for strength and power, you can find these only in Jesus.
If you are looking for a hope and a future, you can find these only in Jesus.
If you are looking for eternal life, you can find it only in Jesus.
If you are looking for calm and stillness, you can find it only in Jesus.
If you are looking for peace and safety, you can find it only in Jesus.
If you are looking for gentleness and compassion, you can find these only in Jesus.
If you are looking for grace and mercy, you can find these only in Jesus.
If you are looking for a place of worship, you can find this only in Jesus.
If you are looking for belonging, you can find this only in Jesus.
If you are looking for perfection and holiness, you can find these only in Jesus.

What good thing are you looking for? What have you been running after? Are you running fast in the wrong direction? There is still time to stop, turn around and seek Jesus, because all good things are found in Him. He Himself is the gift that keeps on giving.

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
(John 3:16)

“And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world. If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in them and they in God. 16 And so we know and rely on the love God has for us.
God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them.”
(1 John 4:14-16)

“Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you really know me, you will know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.”
(John 14:6-7)

“But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”
(Matthew 6:33)
