"An-Nur" is a surah of Medina origin. In Russian, its name translates as "Light" (or "Ray"). In total, it has 64 verses.

It can be called a set of rules for Muslims. Surah "Nur" begins with the narration of the greatest sin in Islam – adultery. It is said that society should be cleansed of this vice.

Moreover, it is unacceptable among believers. To eliminate temptation, the Almighty created punishments: separately for men and for women. The verses also contain questions of slander.

How should a Muslim behave when making false accusations?

In the sequel, there is a narrative about the rules of behavior in other people's homes: before whom a woman can appear uncovered, and before whom - not. The Creator calls for chastity.

The deeds of believers and those who stubbornly deny the existence of the One Allah are also described in these verses.

The surah reminds of the need for a respectful attitude in the family. What should be the behavior of parents, children, or whose man is allowed to sit at the table and eat?

The answers to these questions can be found in the surah "Light". At the end, the moral qualities of Muslims are given. It describes in detail what a believer should be like.
