Is Iowa About to Finally Protect Its Citizens' Right to Keep and Bear Arms?

Washington Gun Law President, William Kirk, discusses the Iowa Freedom Amendment, which would, if enacted, for the first time ever place Constitutional Protections on the individual's right to keep and bear arms in the State's Constitution. Iowa, is one of very few states to not have a Second Amendment equivalent in their State Constitution, and while the other states on that short list are the usual suspects, it comes as a surprise to many that Iowa is on that list as well. Well, come this election day the citizens of Iowa intend on doing something that should have been done in 1846 and we, as lawful and responsible gun owners nationwide, should get behind these efforts.
