New episode 12/23 with Elica Le Bon who shares her perspective and family history of whats going on in Iran along with her activism towards this cause.

Elica Le Bon speaks on how the death of Mahsa Aminio sparked a revolution in Iran. Elica is a defense attorney who has been heavily involved in activism for the last 10 years. She shares her families history in Iran, educates on what is currently happening in that part of the world and how she fights to stop executions happening. We tap into the desensitizing of death in the country of Iran, its current landscape and more personal discussions of how her own family has suffered which includes execution. Although this is a powerful discussion with graphic discussions that may be triggering it is very honest and down to earth between two very sarcastic humans trying to lighten the mood the best we can.

DEAD Talks with David Ferrugio engages death a little bit differently. Each new guest shares their experience with grieving or perspective on death in a way that shatters the “don’t talk about death” taboo. Grief doesn't end, it evolves. Having lost his father on September 11th when he was 12 he learned the importance of discussion and sharing other people's stories. Grief, loss, death, mourning, trauma or whatever it may be, DEAD Talks Podcast hopes to make it a little easier to talk about. You may cry; but, you also may laugh.
