The Real Reason Jordan Peterson Is Wrong

What is Jordan Peterson? That name has become far more than the man himself. His meteoric rise from humble academic to controversial cultural sensation is now a phenomenon that encompasses a broad range of people and views. The discourse surrounding Peterson and his views is a reflection of the time we live in. A time marked by our inability to even agree on what our problems are, let alone agree on how to solve them.

This video is not in any way targeting Jordan Peterson the man, but rather a problem that we have identified in his thinking and broader movement. This will, in the end, boil down to a fundamental problem with how we tend to think about the future. All of the debate surrounding this man and his views is incapable of articulating the real questions and the common ground shared by all that we need in order to move forward. There are plenty of existing debates and positions surrounding this man and his views, but we have concluded that none of them are capable of articulating a solution. With his recent statements about the war in Ukraine and many other areas that are well outside of his initial scope, we felt it was important to articulate what was going on in an impartial way, and without taking any sides.
