Homemade Paint Brushes From Nature

As a primitive potter I am far too reliant on store-bought paint brushes, so I am making myself a bunch of new homemade paint brushes using yucca leaves. The yucca paint brush has a long history in the American Southwest. In this video I honor those ancient potters by teaching you how to make yucca brushes yourself simply and easily. These are good paint brushes that you don't need to pay a penny for and can last for years.

My students and I make pottery together over Zoom every Wednesday evening. Please consider joining us https://ancientpottery.how/ancient-potters-club/
