Heavy rain caused flash floods, as drains failed to deal with the volume of water.

Roads were blocked, as flood waters rose, causing traffic gridlock.

The storm lasted for around 30 minutes, taking residents by surprise.

As flood waters subsided, mud and debris was left in the streets.
