It’s been a week since we flipped the lights and we have had some SERIOUS growth! So much so that I had to go in ad do a defoliating early in the week, and again at at the end of the week!
I’ve got it thinned out pretty good by removing some of the fan leaves, and cutting others back to half their size. I left the most dominant branches and got rid af the vast majority of the wispy branches that will restrict airflow through the canopy. Potentially creating a haven for white powdery mildew. And NO ONE wants that!
This tent will get a spray in the new few days as part of pest control. We want to spray before we get pistils showing. As pesticides often will effect the pistils and make them turn colour. Ideally you want those pistils to stay white as long as possible And standing straight out. This is one sign of a happy healthy flowering cannabis plant. Which is what we want the whole grow off possible.
