According to officials with the Lethbridge Police Service, property crime at job sites in our city is rising. Members of the Building Industry and Land Development Association of Lethbridge, LPS and other groups sat down recently to discuss the increase in crime at these job sites.

Bridget Mearns, the executive officer of BILD Lethbridge, says she organized the sit down after hearing concerns from organizations throughout our community.

Mearns says the next steps is to reach out to the BILD membership and ask them what their concerns are to make sure that crimes are reported.
